Poetry Santa Cruz Presents Travis Mossotti and Ingrid Browning Moody

Travis Mossotti received his MFA in poetry from Southern Illinois
University Carbondale. He has been a faculty lecturer at the University of California Santa Cruz and McKendree University, and his
poetry continues to appear widely. Mossotti was awarded the James Hearst Poetry Prize from the North American Review in 2009,
and his poem “Decampment” was adapted to screen in 2010 as an animated short film. His first collection of poems,
About the Dead (Utah State University Press, 2011), was awarded the 2011 May Swenson Poetry Award by contest judge
Garrison Keillor. Mossotti currently resides in St. Louis with his wife, Regina.

Ingrid Browning Moody’s poems have appeared in
Crab Orchard Review, New South, RHINO, and elsewhere. She has received artist grants from the Squaw Valley Poetry
Conference and the Vermont Studio Center. Her chapbook, Learning About Fire, won the Robert Phillips Poetry Chapbook
Prize and is forthcoming from Texas Review Press in February. She teaches writing at the University of California, Santa Cruz,
